About this talk

This project focuses on endangered nesting turtles along the Eastern coast of Cape York. Each year almost 75 per cent of turtle's eggs are eaten or destroyed by the plague of feral pigs living in this area. A recycled plastic cage for turtle nests has been designed to minimise the destruction of these nests by feral pigs and increase the turtle hatchling survival rates
